Junior World Cup: Pakistan hockey squad leaves for Malaysia

LAHORE: A 20-member Pakistan hockey team left here for Malaysia on Tuesday to take part in the 9th Junior World Cup to be jointly hosted by Malaysia and Singapore from June 7 to 21. The participating teams are divided into four pools. Pakistan are in Pool A along with defending champions Argentina, Russia, Belgium and Egypt. Pakistan will play their first match against Russia on 7, second against Egypt on 8, third against Argentina on 11 June and last pool match against Belgium on 12 at Johor Bahru.
